Barry Harrington

Barry Harrington is a Principal Officer in the Irish Department of Finance with responsibility for EU policy and legislation in relation to Banking and Payments. Prior to this, he was a Policy Analyst in the Central Bank of Ireland on mortgages and payments, and he has worked as a Special Adviser to the Minister with responsibility for Financial Services. He has worked in a variety of roles as a policy analyst in Banking policy, EU structural funding and EU economic governance in the Irish Department of Finance, the European Commission and the private sector.
